We're not building another generic SaaS product. We're building tools for a specific community—the people who keep classified networks running—because we know what they actually need.
If you've worked in this space, you understand. If you haven't but want to learn, we can teach you. What matters is that you care about the mission and want to do work that makes a real difference.
Our office is located in North Jersey. Whether you work on-site or remote depends on your role and current project—if it doesn't require being on-site, you're free to work from the office or from home.
Some work requires being on-site—customer deployments, classified environments, client visits. When the project requires it, we show up. Otherwise, work where you're most productive and comfortable.
We want employees to be comfortable and productive in their best environment. If your current project doesn't require being on-site, choose wherever you do your best work.
We build tools for classified networks. Depending on your role, you may need an active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Some positions require existing TS/SCI clearance. Others can work with Secret or even uncleared (for commercial-focused roles). We'll be upfront about requirements for each position.
If you have a clearance that's currently inactive, that's often workable. If you've never held a clearance but are clearable, some roles can sponsor.
Air Gap Intel was founded by veterans. We understand the value that military experience brings—discipline, mission focus, ability to work under pressure, and understanding of the defense environment we serve.

We care about what you can do, not where you went to school. If you learned cybersecurity in the military, through self-study, or on the job, that counts. Show us what you've built and what you know.
Certifications are nice but not required for most roles. We'd rather see a GitHub profile or hear about problems you've solved than check boxes on a resume.
